Chando currently lives with her family in New York City. Chando attended Manhattan College prior to becoming an actor. Chando played Maddie Coleman, the lead role in the TV series As the World changes from 2005 to 2007. She then reprised the role for a short period of time beginning late 2009. Alexandra began her career as an actor in 2002, as she was cast as Jenna Harper on the TV Series House Blend. As the World Turns on CBS was her debut TV part following three years. Chando was a part of the American documentaries True life and Sherri in 2009, and played Maddie Coleman in As the World Turns. Also, Chando appeared in the two episodes of Glory Dze as Annabelle.
