Ava August

at the age of 14, Ava August performed before an SOLD out crowd of 3000 people on the Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles before the Los Angeles Kings professional hockey game. Ava August was recruited and scheduled to perform by the Los Angeles Dodgers and L.A. Galaxy, professional baseball and soccer teams, respectively, but COVID-19 pandemic caused cancellations of the reservations. Ava August, at the 15 years of age, was one of the newest performers as well as judges on American Idol Season 19. Ava won the coveted gold trophy during the Audition Round. Then, the Genre, Duets, Showstoppers, Celebrity/Solo and Top 16 rounds were held. Ava was chosen to be in the TOP 10 by the American audience. Ava August sang on American Idol two original songs: Neighbor Boys, and Ghost of You. Ava performed a duet that was incredibly powerful with Josh Groban, an internationally-acclaimed singer. Ava August was also the first to release Daybreak which was a critically-acclaimed track when she was only 15. The track was followed by her first musical video. The song premiered on 11/01/20. Daybreak was broadcast on KX 93.5 FM along with the an hour-long Tropical Surf Hour. The following day, 11/29/20 Daybreak was played on 88.5 FM LA/OC just before 11M listeners were in Southern California.
